I do not recall the member who was looking for a good name for a new quilting club. But I did want to offer my
suggestion: Impressive Connections!

(Suggesting the piecing connections we quilters make, of course.)

Good one. We call ours "The Hens Nest". We've been told that we sound like a flock of cackling hens when we get together.LOL Hence the name.

I do, too. I thought it fitting. I tried to send the suggestion before I actually had an account. Have one now but I realize her group may already have one.

I like that! And my D.H. has said practically the same thing when my daughters and I get together and find something funny to laugh and talk about.

Our eight member group is called the "Sew N' Sews". We meet once a month and do a Show and Tell, talk and have lunch. We each bring our own lunch and the hostess supplies chips and dip, dessert and ice tea or soft drink. We also do a challenge, or block exchange usually once a year. It's a good idea to keep a group to six or eight and we are very informal. GiGi

Hello,
Our group here in Kenosha who live in a Senior Retirement Community are the Old Sew N' Sews. We meet every Tuesday afternoon for 2 hours. We crochet, knit, mend and have fun.

We recently made and tied 14 crib quilts for a non-profit organization here in town.

Currently we are making fleece blankets and a double size pieced quilt.

Very enjoyable!
