I have great news for everyone who lives and/or shops in north Georgia...there is a new fabric/quilt shop in Cumming called Thread Bear Fabrics and all I can say is "Wow! Wow! Wow!!!". They have a fabulous assortment of fabrics in just about every color way imaginable and they are all gorgeous. They also have FQ bundles, charm packs, jelly rolls, etc., patterns, books, quilting tools and lots more. Their prices are much lower than any of the other LQS in the area and they also sell online. In fact they told me that only forty per cent of their inventory is in the store and that they have so many different fabrics available they can't fit them all on the shelves. I purchased some of Robin Pandolph's RJR collection called Fancy Hill Farm and it was $8.30/yd. I've seen it as high as $10.50/yd. elsewhere. Most important of all, the staff is super nice and down to earth...no snootiness here at all. That's a big plus as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure this is a great place to check out online too if you are not in the area and they do ship to Canada. Just thought I'd share my great discovery with all of my quilty friends here :)
