It was pretty intense. Perhaps a hundred boxes out on the lawn was mostly non quilting stuff. From Xmas to antiques. Then went in the house where the porch was lined with temp shelving covered in boxes of all kinds with little organization also no prices. I pawed around a little and filled a big bag. Then went into the two rooms with misc and around 50 boxes of magazines and books, etc. Again no organizatio and no prices.
I got a big carrier bag of fabric that ended up being around 28+ yards for $15. Then a bunch of patterns and small kit type things for 25 cents each and several books for $1 each. Best buy was a complete kit for a large quilt for $15 that was marked retail $95.
But the messiness and the lack of prices kept me from buying more. Hint for others: if you are selling scraps or pieces and dont want to measure, sell by weight. Faster and easier. I would have bought more.
