and go through Florence, OR - there is a neat quilt shop there called 'The Joy of Quilting'. Clean, bright, engaging staff. Some of the quilts they had made up were really stunning and unique. Attached to the shop is a small quilt gallery and gift shop with some fabulous quilts.

It is in the east side of Hwy 101, cross St. is 30th

I know the shop. You are absolutely right! I am teaching a 3 hour class there in August, stained glass. Not applique, not iron on. stitching. Jank

Yes, it is my favorite quilt shop. Wow, Jank I hope to see you while your here. Sorry I didn't know you were here Quilting Nonnie, it would have been nice to meet my July partner.

oops...I am quiltingnonie which is almost Quilting Nonnie! (it happens often) But perhaps one day, I will be your swap partner :D

My husband and I are full time RVers for 15 years. We summer in Florence. Great to discover gems of quilt shops. I taught this class last year and it was very popular at this shop. Life is an ongoing learning experience.
