Hi, Is everyone ready for the Lancaster, PA quilt show Mar. 14 - 17 ? I have been going for the past 2 years & really enjoy it. There is also a special exhibit at the Lancaster Quilt & Textile Museum. Is anyone also going ?

There are two shows in Lancaster - the AQS Show at the Convention Center and another show at the Host. Lots of eye candy etc.

I've been going to the show for years, usually staying a few days for the show, shopping and hanging out with quilting pals from several states. Unfortunely my knees can't take so much fun and running around so I'll be there on Friday and Saturday. Friday night is when our group has it's Show and Tell and I can't miss that even though I don't have much to show this year. Also plan to hit my favorite shops, Zooks and Sauders and mabye one or two more.

Didn't know that Host still had a show. I really miss the show being there, I'd view the quilts and check out all the vendors and then take the bus across the street to the "Renagade' vendors. I've heard that the show might move again as it had a commitment to the hotel in the town of Lancaster for 3 years and this is the 3rd year. If that's true I hope they choose somewhere with its own parking - paying for the jitney and parking is for the birds. I'd rather spend those dollars on fabric!

I'm soooo upset.. Jealous.... I'm on LI which is not that far, but I don't have anyone to go with.. Nobody I know out here quilts.. I have a friend in MO that quilts, but she can't get away..

I'm going. I live about an hour away. There are two shows this year, and the renegade vendors across the street from the Host. My friends and I will visit them all!
