I received a post card yesterday saying that the Mill End in Fridley is having a liquidation sale because they lost their lease.

That is a real BUMMER!! Although I live in Kansas my grand-daughter lives in Anoka so every trip I would make to see her I insisted on going to that place and would stock up on lots and lots of fabrics! All good things must end I guess. I tried ordering from them one time and talked to the owner by phone and he never got back to me with what I wanted . Sue

Sue - I just googled Mill End Minnesota and there is a store in Crystal, about 15 miles south of Anoka. Perhaps you could check out that store on your next visit. I live south of the Cities and have found some wonderful fabrics at the one near me. Karen

Carrot -- Do you shop at the MIll End in Willmar. several years ago several people from St. Cloud would go there at least several times a month, now we're lucky if someone goes there once a year. Know Sheila there.

I was in the Fridley store this past week. I'm bummed they're closing it --- but --- there will soon be a new one at 1550 White Bear Avenue, St. Paul. Also, the fabric in the Fridley store will continue to be discounted more each week. They're already pretty low on quilting stuff, compared to what they've usually had; so I imagine there won't be a lot left by the last week. :D

Willmar has a fabric warehouse- but it is not a Mill End. And yes I shop there alot and I do know who Sheila is... but she probably only knows me by my face ☺
Next time I stop in I will introduce myself and mention you --lol-- will she know who Iamquilter is !!!!!
