Hey everyone. If you are in the St. Louis Missouri area this Saturday from 1-4, please stop into the Under Our Wings workshop at the Missouri Museum of History. Sharon Bailey Region 7 Coordinator for the QOVF will be presenting the workshop. There will be a small trunk show and a lecture before everyone has the opportunity to make a string block for a quilt to be sent to one of our troops. If you ever wondered how the Quilts of Valor Foundation operated all your questions can be answered there. From volunteering to piece a top, to volunteering to quilt a quilt as a longarm operator, to who decides the destination, all questions will be covered. Quilt shops customers and workers are welcome to come and help the public learn how to sew a 1/4 inch seam. It's free and open to the public as a community service.
