Hey Mainers. Have any of you actually done this whole shop hop...34 stores in 30 days, all over the state? What a glorious time that would be!! http://www.maineshophop.com/ And what a great list of Maine shops (as a PDF file after 3/30) with all the info and directions right in one place. That's a keeper all by itself!

Hey Ghostrider! I am in Bar Harbor! This shop hop is fantastic as you said! This year several of my friends from the guild are going to go together on the hop. We will have to do it in a few days, taking a section at a time of this great big state. At least that is the plan at this time. We of course will probably not be able to cover them all to be eligible for the grand prize but it will be FUN!

Wow, thanks for that list. I had no idea we had so many shops in Maine. We may not be able to do many "Hops" during that time frame, still recovering from hip replacement, but I plan to visit some during the year.

Currently The Fabric Garden in Madison is my go-to quilt shop since I love the girls there.

Hey all you Mainers! If any of you get to Bar Harbor, Fabricate is a pretty little shop. Also if you do plan on coming this way, PM me so we can meet. I do most of my shopping in this place. The owner is very sweet and accommodating. Always helpful and inventive too.

My BFF has been trying for years to get me to come visit her camp in Aurora during the summer. Maybe a lot of fabric shopping would make the lack of indoor plumbing and electricity more tolerable, ya think? I'll give a yell if I get that close.
