I just heard about this one...

Quilt Exhibit
Flat Rock Historical Society
Sunday March 13th
1-4pm
Behind the Flat Rock Public Library
on Gibraltar Rd
Bring a quilt from home and have it appraised for $10.00
($45.00 anywhere else)

Please try to visit and view the quilts from the past and some from the present too!
Quilts are a cherished American art form and historic as well. Hope to see you there!

Flat Rock Historical Society

Thanks for the heads up - I was raised in Flat Rock (first 13 years, anyhow), and am now in Allen Park. Is your quilting group open to anyone who would like to check it out? I've only heard about a senior's group here and the lady I spoke to (several years ago) didn't seem to want me to come as I'm not a senior...

Does anyone know if the Allen Park or Trenton groups are still meeting? I am not a senior either but I have been quilting for years and years lol. I'd love to find a fun group to sew with.
