Thumbs up My Mother's Day weekend

My Mother's will be spent with my Mum, sister, niece, & my Mum's 2 sisters.
I have a 3 hour drive to Mum's on Thursday, pick up Mum & my niece, then a 4 hours drive to Dubbo. My sister is coming up from from Wagga with 2 aunts( 78 & 84 ). We have reserved a farm stay house, & will go through Dubbo zoo. The "old girls" are sooo looking forward to the weekend. We had a great weekend camping over New Year with the same group. Mum's Dementia is getting worse & we don't know how long we will be able to do this sort of thing with her, so we are making the best of it.
Love your Mum's coz you don't know how long you have them for

Hopefully we will create a lot of memories. Sadly most of them will be short lived for Mum but her sisters will be glad of them. We did the camping fishing thing for New Year & they are still talking about that.
Hoping I can get rid of this cold before I go, or at least the contagious bit.

Enjoy your week-end with your family. It sure sounds like fun. I lost my mom when I was 24 and she was only 48, so I kinda enjoy those of you who still have them. My mother died in 1959, and my father in 1941. He was 38 and I was 6-1/2 years old, so I only have a few memories of him.

Awe, that's great! Life is precious indeed! Dreading Father's day already because I lost my DH last august to cancer.
