I'll be in the Raleigh/Durham area next week, and would be interested in checking out a few quilt shops while there! Any good ones that shouldn't be missed? We might also head down to Charlotte where we used to live (before I was into quilting). Any there? Thanks.

You have to go to Mary Jo's which is about 30 minutes South of Charlotte, in a town called Gastonia ~ it is amazing!

One of my favorite shops is in the Chapel Hill/Cary area. It has a wonderful selection of fabrics. I can't remember the name; but will go on line and try to find it.

I went to Mary Jo's once when I lived in Charlotte. It is truly amazing - you're right! If you can't find it there, you don't need it! Thanks, though, I had forgotten it was in Gastonia. Knew it was south of Charlotte, but a LOT of things are!
