I will be there too!! I do have to work that day so I may be a little late getting there. Pray the day goes well so that I can get out on time that day. Karen, please pm the address to me.

Thanks,
Angela

p.s. I hope to have the retirement quilt done before then. The party is on the 21st. Would you all like to see it completed?

Since I live in Beaverton, I will try to at least stop by to talk about the public TV QUILTING PROGRAM series. John is producing and I will be the host and I would LOVE TO HAVE ALL OF YOU INVOLVED who live close enough.
Also the open, non juried Centennial Quilt Show at Metzger Saturday, January 28.
I haven't figured out how to write my threads so they don't get removed but I will email Cobalt blue with information.
I look forward to meeting all of you. Do you want a "field trip" on the 14th?

No field trip for me, just visiting with the quilters that come. Really looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. Pass the word since I don't think some are getting the notifications for one reason or another.

Just got a notification on this thread from quilting board along with about 60-70 others a few minutes ago. Wonder why they come out in batches? Some stuff I had not commented on in weeks.

Will try to bring a project I have bound so all can see my 1 7/8" bindings I have perfected.

Just saw this thread, will definitely try to come.

Anyone in the Albany/Salem area want to carpool? We can meet at a central location and share the drive (and maybe stop in at a quilt store or two on the way home?)

Okay, here's the current scoop on groups. I went to the groups section and there was no information on what they do or how to start one. Went to the help section and found an old closed thread where PatriceJ says that at the present time groups are basically useless and they are exploring options on how to fix that. So I sent Patrice a pm asking for the current status. I'll keep you up to date, but as of right now the groups idea isn't going anywhere.

I would love to carpool esp. if someone else drives!I would be willing to pay gas.I drive 50-80 miles a day so anytime I can not drive is a good day!

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone! Faith helped me get a jump start yesterday on organizing my sewing room! My fabric is all folded and organized by color and quantity. I've left the doors off of the cabinets for now because I just want to admire my stash! Now to sort the scraps the same way! My husband actually made the comment that now I had spaces to fill. I can do that! :-)
