    Hi Ladies,
I haven't read all the messages here as there is soooo many pages. I live in the Tacoma WA area and have only been quilting a few years. I don't have any quilting friends and do not belong to any groups up here. I would like to get to know you ladies and maybe one day join in on a retreat or field trip. It gets so very lonely sewing by yourself so unfortunately I haven't been quilting much these days. I am in my early 40's with school age children and married. I am a full time housewife. I look forward to hearing from any of you ladies.

    Cheers

Welcome Melinda,We are a fun group and very diverse. We are from our 30's-70's with all skills of quilters. Some of us work, some are retired and some are stay at home folks(and some are just lazy)Only kidding. There is a great quilter that lives in your area that is in our group her avatar is Ugly cook but her name is Julie. We tend to do retreats twice a year and get together thru out the year at quilt shows or just each others house. We love to add to the group and meet new people. So glad you found us.Bookmark the site and you will always know what we are up to.I think we have decided to keep this thread going instead of posting new threads with each event. If I am wrong on that someone will correct me.We are not shy. Cindy

I'm around. Just keeping busy around the house and trying to work on a couple quilts. Lots of fun family drama happening, dealing with that.
Hope you and your family are all doing well and your keeping busy. Miss seeing you all. How is the spring retreat coming for you all? Bet your all going to have a blast.

I'm here-I'm still here!! Hi Valsma good to hear from you and know you are quilting another beautiful project. I've been making a quilt for a new GD to be! She's three and oh my I'm having to change my thoughts. I've always had boys and what a difference. I made my first baby doll quilt for her! So cute and yep it has pink in it! (Yuk!) I can't wait for our next get together. And oh yes please check out "My New Selvage Tote" I did post pictures too-my first ones with all this change going on with the QB. Let me know what you think.

    Hi Wine Woman,
Aren't those grandaughters fun? I'm used to the boys to but am enjoying the girl. Got her pink roller skates for Easter. LOL. You'll get used to the pink. I will have to go look for your tote pictures and take a peek.
I'm not sure where everyone is . Maybe everyone is just keeping busy.

I'm still lurking, I don't know anyone from any previous retreats so I'm probably not the "anyone" you are referring to, but I'm watching for new retreat information.
