Default Paducah Ky - AQS Quilt Show

I have been asked if I would like to go as she wants to go but will not travel that far by herself. She has a friend that we can stay for $25 a night which includes breakfast. There is three of us going, I'm so excited.

I was wondering if any of my quilting board friends are going to be there and if so is there a meet and greet?

I am going with a two bus group from Indianapolis. Been doing it for over 15 years. Taking my mominlaw so I will mostly be showing her a good time this year. She is not a quilter but loves doing new things so seeing the quilts should be fun.

Thankfully this year there will be less water.

Make sure you go to Carson Park to the Eleanor Burns Show (free) and her huge fabric tent. Last year the fabric was $5.00 per yard. Have a great time.

I'm really lucky to live within an hour of Paducah! Even when I taught school, I managed to go at least one day after school! It's a tremendous experience just being with all the quilts and all the people. What I would like to do is go to the Houston show someday!

I would love to be going, I envy all of you who can go. Take lots of pictures and write about your experiences when you return! I'm going to love hearing about all of them.

The lady that is taking us, told me this is a must and I'm looking forward to meeting her.
