Alzheimers Auction

Has anyone here ever participated in their auction? http://www.benefitbidding.com/listin...gory=965774286

No, I have not but if I could afford to do so I would. I lost my Mom to alzheimers long before she passed away. A very worthy auction.

I have made several quilts to donate to be placed on the auction. Also, I take a look at the quilts at Houston International Quilt Festival when I go. They are always just great! There is usually a price range so you can go inexpensive or go big - your choice!

I looked after I had replied. The ones on this page are the big names that people will recognize. There are lots of others from ordinary quilts like me that go for $40, $50 or maybe $75. Mine have sold for around those amounts.

God Bless all of you who take the time to make a quilt for Alzheimers' Auction. My husband was diagnosed with this terrible disease 2 years ago. All I can say is "I never knew, I never realized the heartbreak Alzheimers' brings." Hopefully, within our lives we will see a cure.
