Any happy apple customers out there? In Florida?
Hi, I'm thinking of going on their July 20th shop hop. $40 for the bus and breakfast, lunch and a snack. Thought it would be a great way to visit two shops I haven't been to yet and a good way to meet some people.
Just wondered if anyone else was considering it! Lots2do |
What is a happy apple customer? I thought maybe this was about apple products like the Iphone.

Me too Starshine:rolleyes:

Is the Happy Apple a quilt shop here in Florida? If so where is it, and when is the shop hop? The Cotton Patch quilt shop in Bradenton does one of these a couple times a year I think it starts at her shop and goes to a couple others with food at each shop the cost is (I think) $50. also by bus. Would like to do one of them sometime if her schedule and mine works out.

Yes, it's the Happy Apple Quilt Shop in the Cloverdale Mall or Plaza. They are expanding since I was there this spring. The hop goes to two other shops. Can't remember off the top of my head. I'm going to call tomorrow and sign up for a seat on the bus.
Sorry for the confusion, everyone. I should have been more clear. :) lots2do |
Not far from here is a company named Happy Apples and that is what they make. Apples dipped in carmels, in the fall around Halloween.

Happy Apple customer ,you must have read about the new transparent Apple phone which will be launched very soon. I hops so that you will feel honor to buy that so how many dollars you have allocated for that.
|
Shoppes at Cloverdale is where Happy Apple is located now. I didn't know they finally moved back to Palm Harbor. Very good news for me.

Well it made for an interesting read.:)

I like going to Crafty Threads and Happy Apple quilts in Oldsmar (Tampa mailing address) on Racetrack Rd when I am in FL in the winter. It is a really nice store.
|
Happy Apple has moved, Jean, so make sure you find it on your next trip down. I haven't been to Crafty Threads yet.

So...I went on the Shop Hop yesterday. Just thought I'd give a nice shout out to Happy Apple Quilts for a fun day. I got to see two other shops easily in AC comfort with someone else doing the driving. I thought I would be able to keep my spending down until I found some lovely seashell fabric at Inspire Quilting in Plant City. It was in the clearance section, too, which was a nice surprise. We met a pattern designer at the Lakeland Heartfelt Design and I picked up one of her patterns... a cute one with snowmen heads arranged like a Christmas tree. Back to Happy Apple where I bought some more sea shell fabric that will eventually become bedroom curtains. All in all, a lovely day. We had plenty of time to shop, food to eat and the company was pleasant as well. Didn't even matter that I didn't know anybody. They are planning on another trip in November. Sure wish I could play hooky and come down for that one. So, if you are considering doing a shop hop with them, I would recommend it.

I was on this same shop hop and started from Heartfelt! It was my first time to do this and I didn't know anyone either. I agree that it didn't matter. I got the same snowman pattern! Isn't it adorable? I blew my "pace yourself and stick to your budget" before we ever left Heartfelt!
