Anyone attending the Ricky Tims Seminar in Atlanta

Is anyone else planning to attend the Ricky Tims seminar at the end of January in Atlanta?
Sending my registration tomorrow and hope there are still slots available.

I am signed up for the one in Michigan in May. Post what you think of it after attending. I would like to know.

Individual registrations must be turned in by Jan 12 though. I sent mine today by overnight mail.

I debated a long time because it is a stretch for my budget. But some kind friends kicked in funds for my birthday gift to make it work for me. I am so EXCITED. Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims are two of my favorite quilting personalities

I have not taken the super seminar but I did take his lecture at the Quilt Festival in Houston a couple of years ago and I was very happy and learned a great deal. His lectures are interesting and very informative.

Thanks zipit... I am really looking forward to this. It is the first time I have attended anything like this -- and first time I have spent so much money too.

I really think you'll have a good time. He's an excellent speaker. Have you seen much of him?

Only on The Quilt Show -- and a while ago when he did Alex Anderson's Simply Quilts. I love his sense of color (his hand dyes are so gorgeous). My fave quilts are his Rhapsody quilts. I watched the how-top video on The Quilt Show and bought the book. One of those is on my to-do list when I think I have acquired the necessary skills. I think he is a talented guy with a cool personality. He and Alex are my two favorite quilting personalities.
