Do you have a favorite quilt shop in Boise Idaho or on the way to the panhandle?
We are pulling our trailer from So. Cal to Idaho panhandle for some fun camping and fishing. If I can, I would love to stop at a quilt shop look around and by something. |
I don't know your route. I don't mean to sound stupid but I am not a traveler. Do you take I-84? The best quilt store that I know of is on the square in Rupert, Idaho. There is another that a friend of mine likes around Boise. I will email her and see what the name is.

There are two in Boise that I have visited. One is the Quilt Crossing and is located at the southeast corner of Curtis and Fairview at 5725 Fairview Avenue in Boise, Idaho. They are also the Bernina dealer.
The other is Quilt Expressions located at 9115 Chinden Blvd., #107 in Garden City, Idaho 83714. Garden City is part of Boise on the west side of town. Both of these stores had really friendly staff. Boise also has the JoAnn's and Hancocks, etc. There's another small quilt shop, The Country Quilter, in the Vista Shopping Center, but they were closed the day I was shopping. If you are going north through Idaho and happen to go through Moscow, Idaho, they have a wonderful store called Quilt Something located at 705 North Main Street, Moscow, ID 83843-8511. However, when I went through there 3 years ago the staff was not very friendly or helpful. Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip. |

How funny, Candi, I took a beginner quilt class from Nancy at the Quilt Crossing! They do have a lot of nice fabric and other crafty things in there as well. I also really like Quilt Expressions. When I was in Cour d' lane a couple of years ago, I went to the Bear Paw quilt shop. Haven't been to it since they changed locations, but they had some awesome stuff, too.
