Fabric shopping in Evanston IL anyone?
 

Hubby and I will be spending the day in Chicago on Nov 13 while waiting for our next train. I'm hoping to go to Vogue Fabrics again then as I might not get a chance to go on our return trip.

Anyone in that vicinity that would care to meet me there, please let me know. We arrive at Union Station around 9 AM (possibly 10) and our next train doesn't leave until 9 PM so we have plenty of time to sightsee.

Great store!!! Haven't lived there since the early 60s....it was a GREAT store way back then.....have fun!!!

wow labeelady sounds like you could get a lot of shopping done , please let us know what you found and how the prices are at Vogue

Prices aren't bad, really. Last time I went, I spent the time looking in their remnant bin. There's one section for cotton fabrics. I brought home 6 pieces. Here's a pic of the ones I brought back.
