LQS in Northern MI?

I'm spending some time near Charlevoix, Michigan during August. Are there any good quilt shops in the Petosky/Charlevoix/Traverse City areas?

Hearts to Holly Quilt Shop is in Charlevoix. 107 Mason Street. Phone: 231-547-2729. Lots of fabrics and patterns. Nice friendly people that work there.

Also, Quilt n Bee in Traverse City. 1425 W. South Airport Road #C. right behind the Taco Bell. Phone: 231-922-6766.

In Williamsburg, right outside Traverse City, is Renee's House of Quilting. 8995 M72 East. Phone: 231-267-5895. Lots of Oriental fabrics.

Not affiliated with any of these shops. Have visited them all and purchased from each. Friendly people at all of them. Have a fun trip!

Also, little-known in beautiful Elk Rapids, is a yarn and fabric shop. She sells most fabrics @ MUCH lower prices. Too bad I can't remember the name...something like Then and Now...it's in the old hardware building. Come on up!
Just found it..."Now and Then". Phone: 231-264-5560.

Renee's is worth the drive. I love that shop. It is kinda hard to see. It is on M72, across from the Kabota dealer (tractors). It is set way back from the road. They seem to have everything.

The one in Cedar has closed.

Also, in Interlochen, just south of Traverse City, is Interquilten. A great shop with the most helpful owner. Unique fabrics, lots of batiks, notions, books, etc.

There is a real nice one in Ste Saint Marie, if thats not too far from you. Called the Quilted Moose, or something like that. Prices were very good. And the help were awesome. They even let me come in and work on a project, as I was visiting area and didnt have my stuff.

Love the Ice House, Also look for Delphine's if you are near Gaylord, right around the corner from an amazing chocolate store which is across the main street from a Ben Franklin store that has a lot of really nice fabrics.
