Went to the show yesterday with one of my groups and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Will go back Saturday to look around again and pick up my quilts - entered 3, but no ribbons, just the fun of the entering.

I went yesterday......WOW!!! So many beautiful quilts, so much talent. It is a great show, I go every year since it is almost in my back yard. Can't wait until next year.....

I just got back to LA from my visit to my dad's in the area. Maybe I can time my visits better in the future.

Just left. Had a wonderful time. Can't wait until next year. Took 5 classes and learned a lot. Beautiful quilts on display and the vendors. Might have to get a second mortgage to pay the credit card

I just got home from my first trip to Quiltfest tonight. Spent 6 days at Eagle Ridge Log Cabins, visited the convention center and hotel and found some beautiful stuff I "had" to have! We had the best time. Steak dinner at The Alamo, Lunch twice at The Mellow Mushroom, rocking chairs on the porch, and almost have my entire quilt finished I started while there. Has anyone ever played Left Right Center with fat quarters? We laughed until our sides hurt and we were crying! Each of us bought 10 fat quarters at the show, then used the LRC dice we bought at Walmart there to play one night. Had a great time with 5 quilting friends and can't wait for next year!!!

My DH and I went Sat.. DH was even impressed with the show. He also enjoyed the quilt turning program. He was upset that he didn't find the spot sooner. LOL Maybe next yr. we can get there before the last day.
