Quilt Show by the Sea-This Weekend at War Memorial Auditorium
March 16 - 18, 2012 - Quilt Show by the Sea returns this weekend to War Memorial Auditorium, located at 800 NE 8th Street, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33304. The expo, sponsored by "Once Upon a Quilt... where dreams come true," is a weekend full of quilting and lots of fun. The show features special quilt exhibits:world renowned Gee's Bend collection quilts and the Art Quilts of Melani Kane Brewer, workshops with national teachers, a competition with more than 100 beautiful quilts on display, a merchant mall, demonstrations, a raffle quilt benefitting the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Foundation, and BERNINA unbelievable sewing machine and software sales.
