Anyone on the board going to the show this weekend? I am trying to find a reason to go! Meeting fellow quiters is always fun

Oh, I didn't know there was one!! Tell me about it. Is it worth a two hour drive? If so, maybe I'll head over from Naples. I love meeting folks from the board.

Quilt Show by the Sea-This Weekend at War Memorial Auditorium




March 16 - 18, 2012 - Quilt Show by the Sea returns this weekend to War Memorial Auditorium, located at 800 NE 8th Street, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33304.


The expo, sponsored by "Once Upon a Quilt... where dreams come true," is a weekend full of quilting and lots of fun.



The show features special quilt exhibits:world renowned Gee's Bend collection quilts and the Art Quilts of Melani Kane Brewer, workshops with national teachers, a competition with more than 100 beautiful quilts on display, a merchant mall, demonstrations, a raffle quilt benefitting the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Foundation, and BERNINA unbelievable sewing machine and software sales. Buses are welcome and the show is handicapped accessible.

Adults: $8 per day; multi-day pass: $15.
