I thought after the death of my DH I would like to take a quilting cruise, but I bought the HQ16 Prostitcher instead. Now when it pays for itself I will reconsider the cruise.

Did a Carnaval cruise in Feb, with a local QS It was Ok, sewing was a little tricky, because of the motion of the ship, but nothing serious. We brought our own machines, I had no trouble with that, (I have a Kenmore Mini I use for classes etc.) It was great meeting some of the other quilters. As for your group. Make sure you check on what is supplied. Irons, in particular can be a problem.

I went on a McCall's quilting cruise that Jim West organized in 2006. It was wonderful. There were so many things for the tag-along guys to do. Lots of fun. Enjoy

Gaga, I went on the Craftsy Quilting Cruise that was was handled by Jim West's company (Sew Many Places). It was wonderful! Only problem is we didn't get a whole lot of sewing time. The machines were all set up in one room, and only half of us could use the machines at any one time, since there were 84 of us and only 42 machines. We did not get any "free sew" times to catch up on projects, because they needed to have a technician in the room when people were using them. The machines were the latest Janome Horizon 8900's, and at the end of the cruise you could purchase one at a discount. I bought one! It's the best decision I ever made! Those machines sew like a dream!
