Default QOV special on PBS today

I was just looking at the guide on my TV & I see that on my local PBS station there's going to be a 2-hour special about QOV today. I'm in the central time zone & the show is on here at 10 AM. It also shows that it repeats next Saturday at the same time. I just thought some others might be interested in seeing this show. I know I'm amped!

QoV stands for Quilts of Valor...charity organization...quilts go to military. I work w/LAer in KS. I send tops, backing, binding. She provides, thread, batting and her time and LAs for free. Last spring donated 10 tops kits for her. Here's a link: http://www.qovf.org/ I don't do RWB color scheme. Judy, my LA gal, said other color combo were the first to go. It's such a worthwhile organization. Dh watch the special w/me and is so pleased I'm doing this project. We are NOT a military family but so greatful to the military service others do provide and their sacrifice.

Default QOV special

Thanks for the heads up. When I started this thread, I thought I'd missed it. I have been involved with QOV for over 5 years. -- I recently received a note from the med team in Zandakar (sp), Afghanistan saying, "I thank you for the beautiful quilt. It was draped over the soldier when he received his Purple Heart." This message really touched my heart and I know being involved in this project is about giving.
