Hi,
I'll be traveling to a quilt show in Austin, Tx in a couple of weeks. We plan on stopping at a quilt shop in Brenham and two in Giddings. Does anyone have a favorite shop in Austin near the Palmer Center that We shouldn't miss?

Happy Quilting,
Helen

Unfortunately, there are no LQS's near Palmer Center. The Quilt Store is a few miles north of there on Anderson Lane...wonderful shop.

If you're also going south of Austin, there are two wonderful shops in New Braunfels, about an hour south of Austin on Interstate 35. The Quilt Haus on Business 35 and Oak Leaf Quilts downtown near the Plaza (and near a fabulous bakery!).

There aren't any shops I know of downtown near the center, unless brand new ? - but there are several north of downtown. The Quilt Store and Sew Much More are both on Anderson Ln off I-35 N, and Honey Bee Quilts is off 183 N (Research Blvd) at Anderson Mill Rd / Jollyville. There's also a shop up in Round Rock, can't remember the name ... and the ones mentioned prev down in New Braunfels. Also a very nice shop up in Georgetown - Poppies ? Haven't been there in awhile ...
Too much to see in a day, that's for sure ! Have fun ! :)

Hi .
Some of the shop you might be visiting will have booths at the show. We will have over 70 vendors at the show. And if there not there we will gladly give you the direction to there shops.
I will be in the RW&B booth at the show. Come by and see me.
You will love the All around theBlock shop in Gidding. Also Gerlins.
Texas has a lot of good shop that aren't to far from each other.

Thanks for your help,Ladies. If we have enough time, The Quilt Store and Sew Much More look promising. Honey Bee Quilts will have a booth at the show. Bobbie, we'll be sure to see you at the RW&B booth.

Happy Quilting,
Helen
