There is a new quilt shop in Maui. It is a year old. It is named "Sew Special" phone is 877-6128. They are located in the Queen Ka'ahumanu Shopping Center. Email is [email protected]. The store is HUGE and if you love batiks, well need I say more? When we went to Maui/Kaui as soon as I checked into our hotel I was checking out the phone book/newspaper and asked the hotel info desk for local quilt shops. I found them ALL and a couple that I stumbled on by accident, lol. I ended up buying another suitcase because of all the fabric I had purchased. I need to warn you, no specials. You will be paying West coast prices, $9-$13 a yard. The fabric that you get there you will not find here on the mainland so still worth the price.

Default Quilt shops in and near Honolulu

It would be a good idea to call for hours and

Who needs an extra suitcase when you can use flat rate usps boxes and not have to lug them home? It's also like having present delivered because I couldn't remember what I'd bought! Organizing my stash the other day provided another opportunity to "open the present" again. :-)

Fabric Mart in Honolulu! I had 71 yds. of fabric shipped home! Just ask any taxi driver to take you there. I could have spent a lot more time there, but we would have missed our plane. That would have been fine with me but my hubby thought I had spent enough time there. LOL

And flat rate is much cheaper than paying for extra luggage! It is so much fun opening the package when it arrives.

Fabric Mart!!! That's the place! Had a great time there! I sent mine home along with all my souvenirs since I was going on a cruise on a Navy aircraft carrier. There is no room for luggage!
