I went to Shady Maple for breakfast I'm afraid we were bad and ate to much, then to Sauders found nice bolt of chocolate brown and some 108 wide choc. They had batics $2.79 yd.Then we went to the hayloft.I found a pattern in Fons and Porter using wildflower fabric found out fabric was discontinued but came out anyway in April addition but hayloft had all but one fabric got that online.Don't know why magazine people print patterns with fabric thats no longer available.I usually use my own stash but DH liked the color that was in the magazine.

Sounds like a good day to me. We usually go to Shady Maple for dinner when we are out that way...will have to try their breakfast some time. I love the fabric stores out there...Sauders, Burkholders, and Hayloft are favorites of mine. I agree with what you said about the magazines printing quilt designs when you cannot get the fabric they used! Bad timing, I guess.
