I was wondering how many quilters there are near Winston Salem NC. I think it would be kind of fun to get together once a month to work on some projects. The rules would be the same as for the board. No negatives, no quilt police and above all no snobs. LOL. It should just be a fun relaxing time to sew and share ideas. What do you think?

I live in Winston-Salem, but as a warning I'm a beginner :) Saturdays would be best for me too as I work full-time and have a toddler.

I'm in Wilmington, but don't mind driving a little. My son lives in Saxapahaw so I could stay with him. I travel with my job so may not be available all the time, but would love to be included in the group. Thanks for the idea!

This is sounding great. Lets plan on working out a starting date after the holidays. Things are always so very busy around this time. Plus I will be starting a new job soon. So lets keep this going. Jump in and give ideas as to when you would like to begin. We have a small church that meets in a store front, so I will have the space for us. I would probably suggest maybe in Feburary sometime. This gives us enough time to get through all of the holidays and new things that happening in my life. Just let me know what you think.

I'm game. I live in Statesville so the drive is less than an hour.
