Default Quiltville

Just heard Bonnie Hunter at local quilt guild. All of her books are printed in the USA. Many others are printed in China or elsewhere. She is an excellent speaker with lots of energy and brought her quilts with her.

Thank you for sharing the tidbit about Bonnie's books being printed in the USA. I made a note of that on my made in the USA list.

Lucy you!!! I'd love to hear her talk....hourray for her printing in the USA. We need to stop sending our dollars to China...all we get back are cheaply made (and often poisionous) items.

Bonnie lives just west of me in NC. I also heard her speak at a local guild meeting and she is great! Her blog and website are wonderful and she is such a caring, sharing person. If she ever visits your area, you should go hear her and better yet, take a workshop from her. Did not know about her books being printed in the good old USA. Love that she does that.

that is really fine, less shipping costs probably but I only have a problem with things manufactured in mainland china (please note small 'c' not a country in my book)Mexico or north korea.........really do not trust that they use the specified materials. sad but true. IMHO

I would love to go to one of her workshops.
Maybe some day she'll come to my guild.

Bonnie is going to be in PA a number of times in 2012. Don't know where you are in PA but if you check out her website and click on Workshop Calendar, you will be able to see where she is planning to go. Hope one of those places is near you. Well worth attending.
