I just got an email saying that after 18 years, Randy is closing his store. He is having a huge sale. Everything must go. Here is the email he sent out....

Greetings!

After 18 years of being in the quilting business I have decided it is time to close the shop due to health and it's time for me to retire. As usual, I don't do anything slow.

The shop close on Wednesday, August 18th.

We are having a going out of business sale starting tomorrow, Wednesday, August 11 thru Wednesday, August 18th.

Everything must go! - fabrics- books- notions - furniture & fixtures.

We will offer only the following discounts - nothing will be further discounted:

Fabrics 60% off

Books, Notions, Patterns, Machine Accessories 75% OFF

If you are interested in any of the furniture & fixtures, please ask me for the price..

I would like to personally thank you for your support and friendship these past years, it has meant a lot to me.

I know, there weren't very many around here to begin with. We have Joanns and Hancocks, but not many local stores.

Awww! :(

I was going to be there (Greensboro) to send my kid to college 8-19. Thought about poking around at some quilt shops and now sadly, there is one less.

I hate to hear of the closing too. I drove over from Chapel Hill on Wednesday afternoon. The store was packed with quilters, so much so that I couldn't wait in the lines as I had an appointment to get back to. The store will be missed.

Cheers, K
