    Sale

    On Black Friday there is a sale at Sew What's New, Main St. (Montauk Hwy.), in Islip. Starting at 12 Noon and continuing for six hours, all fabric on the bolt will be 40% off. The following Saturday all fabric on the bolt will be 30% off all day. Nice sale, I am going on Friday. I think the sale does not include fabric already marked down.

    I went to the sale today. It was pretty busy! I bought some background, backing and a few fat quarters for my little guy's new quilt. I definitely could have bought more but I was trying to restrain myself. I enjoy going to this shop and I am always happy when the shop is full.

    I like that place too. Didn't make it there this time. Had to buy some upholstery fabric/canvas to make leader cloths...and 60% cupon from Joann's was itching to be used.
