Went to Rainbows End Quilt Shop in Dunedin Florida on my vacation down south based on input from you all. Wow! Thanks so much for the suggestion that I visit them. They have 20000 bolts of fabric on hand, and walking into their shop was an experience! What a nice way to spend a couple of hours of vacation time. Now I have one for you all to investigate if you get to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Getting to it was an adventure! It's called The Lavendar Cottage, and it is at N8268 N Gould City Rd, Curtis, MI 49820-9630. Actually just east of Curtis. I had an adventure just finding the place (gravel road) and it was well worth the trip; Tiny shop, really great prices, quality material.

I love Rainbows End. We are going in April. I'm already planning to streamline my clothing so I can bring more fabric home.

Rainbow's End is a big shop, they have everthing, but very pricey.

Country Quilts and Bears in Clearwater is my favorite, and the prices are better.

I live near St. Petersberg in the winter, so always make it to CC&B.
