Saturday, May 12, 2012 in Franklin NC

Here's the link. http://www.maconcountyquilttrail.org/airing-quilts.html
This is the second year for the event and a wonderful reason to visit western North Carolina! There are events planned at most of the places where a quilt trail block is posted as well as the displays of quilts that will be hanging all over the county. Downtown will have several vendors, and quilts will be hanging for your viewing pleasure. come join the fun and help this event grow!

Also that weekend, the Mother’s Day Gemboree will be taking place at the Macon County Community Building. This three-day gem, mineral, and jewelry show is now in its 11th year.

"Airing of the Quilts Challenge" As part of the 2012 Airing of the Quilts Celebration in Franklin, North Carolina, a quilting challenge will take place where you can enter to win. Ribbons will be awarded to 1st through 3rd Place with a cash prize and ribbon given to the overall winner.
