    That is so lovely. I too have a love for Asian fabrics and am designing a quilt using panels and blocks. You inspire me to achieve my goal. Thank you for sharing your masterpiece.

    Oh my! This art quilt is truly a work of art. Please share with us your friends reaction when she gets it. I would love to see more detail shots of it. Just amazing and so original and creative. Great job.

    The word "beautiful" seems to be overused on this post, so perhaps "magnificent" will work? Stunning? WOW! You have done beautiful work, and I love how you incorporated your friend's face into it! What a great personal touch! She will cry, so bring tissues as well.....
