Every year, our Quilt Guild has a Christmas Challenge. This year, we had to draw papers out of 4 different containers. Each container had a different element of the quilt each member should create. These elements were: Color, Fabric, Technique, and Size. The color and fabric categories needed to be present in at least 50% of the quilt.
The papers I drew were: Green, Polka Dot, Must Contain at least 1 Square, and 18" x 36".
So, this is what I designed and made. I call it "Watch Me Grow." It has photos of my daughter from newborn to 4 years old.
She kept telling me, "Mom, I don't like it. It's creepy." Now, that it's done, she likes it. :) She told me, "It's not creepy anymore."

You are very creative. Your daughter will cherish that little quilt for the rest of her life. Wonderful ideas can come from a guild challenge. Way to go girl, you nailed it.
