Default Some Union Jack blocks I'm working on.

Hope you like these... I'm having fun making them. A bit tedious but I love mixing the prints! I have 10 and will need 15 or perhaps 18 for a Christmas gift quilt for my daughter. The blocks are primarily red, white and blue, with a touch of pinks too. I'm wondering if I might need to add a bit of yellow, as well, just to soften up the look. What do you think?

I wouldn't add the yellow, they look really good as is! Nice blocks.

They turned out really nice. If you ask me about color...ugh, I am a garish sort. I like the yellow idea

I don't see a need for yellow. I love your quilt. It is very, very, pretty. Lay some yellow in places and see if you like it.

I think they look great but also think a touch of yellow would be great. Try a little and see what you think.

They're beautiful, as they are. I think yellow would have the "sore thumb" effect. Just my opinion, of course.

Love your quilt blocks as they are, and I think your quilt will be really special as is, but I don't see a need for adding yellow.
