Yes, this is another post... sorry!
The story behind this starts with my grandson who is just a lil over 2. "Kitty" was the first word he ever said, and for some reason he swears cows are in fact "Kitty"s. We go round and round about this still. LOL! After trying to convince him that black & white cows are in deed cows, he calls my black & white cat (whose name is Bond actually) "Cow-kitty". Ugh, close enough I reckon.
After coming across the wonderful tute by John for the machine-made Cathedral Windows, I couldn't resist trying a small test run. I used black and white squares alternating with an adorable FQ kitty print I picked up about 10 years ago. I reckon I had bought it for a reason then, but that has long since been lost. When he seen what gramma was working on he goes running to papa yelling "Gramma make cow-kitty" so the name stuck.
TYVM John for your wonderful tute as the inspiration for this!!

Grandson, Alex

Aww, thanks guys! He sure is a handful and the only one we have. Most days I don't know how I ever survived my own 3 kids as he keeps me a-hopping the whole time he's here! LoL
