I painted this peacock using acrylic paint on cotton fabric. I got the pattern from the book "Painted Quilts". The original design is by decorative painter Sherry Nelson. I thought this would be a huge challenge but I really enjoyed painting it. It will hang in my living room!

This absolutely gorgeous. I love peafowl. I have embroidered two on jackets and had been thinking of doing one great big one I have the pattern for. What a great idea. You are a talented lady.
