"ROW-BY-ROW" QUILT
#1
I am seriously thinking I'd like to join the next Row Robin and I have got to think about a Theme. With that in mind .... I thought I'd share my "Row-By-Row" Quilt that was the results of a project we did in our mini quilt group called, "The Quilting Spuds" (since we all live in Idaho Spud Country). Each month we had a specified "Theme" to produce on the quilt we were working on. The first row was for our own quilt, the theme was "People" (example: angels, dolls, etc.)... and I reproduced myself: In costume "Fat Minnie Mouse"/owned "Six Cats"/love cooking "Chef - Pie - Canning Jars". Other themes were trees, houses, chickens, baskets, flowers, etc.
I also made the "top row" with my name on it, to go over and cover the pillows on the bed.

At our Senior Citizen's Center we do hand quilting and the girls there helped me do the quilting on this quilt.
