"Stars" quilt
#11
I think the stars are great and if making it larger is a problem, try making some alternate blocks - snowballs for example to alternate with the stars, half square triangels the same size or just plain fabric. You would be surprised at how quickly it will go.

Those are wonderful.
I love stars and know what you mean about the repetition of the same block, but I found that creating 'wonky stars' is fun and each one is a bit different and not boring. Something you might want to give a try sometime.

It's gorgeous, but I know how hard it is to get motivated to make something that doesn't appeal to you.
Also, you must not be in great health so that could be slowing you down.
The closer you get to the end the more enthusiasim you'll get.
Very thoughtful of you!

I really like square quilts, so 5x5 is cool. Or you could use alternate setting blocks, like a larger center square with smaller squares in the corners of the block. That creates a secondary diagonal pattern in the quilt. Good luck! May you both be blessed with good health.
