    Beautiful quilt and quilting! I'm sure you enjoyed wonderful memories of your mom as you were working on it. I am in the process of hand quilting a DWR my mom made for me many years ago, taking my time, enjoying the process, and remembering my sweet mother.

    What a beautiful quilt and quilting. You are fortunate to have your Mother's quilts as wonderful heirlooms. My Mom's quilts were used up pretty fast with 7 kids, 5 boys and 2 girls, but I do have a pair of pillow cases that she embroidered and I treasure them. She introduced me to embroidery at age 6 and by 8 I was sewing aprons (without a pattern basically) under Mom's direction and I have been doing both every since. I owe her a lot for teaching me to sew and for my Home Ec. teacher for teaching me how to follow a pattern and putting in a zipper. God bless Mom and Mrs. B.
