127 Yard Sale
#12
My friend and I went... We started at Ky-Tenn border and traveled south. We didn't see as much "good stuff" as last year, but got a few bargains for the house/yard. My focus was fabric. Got some great deals and came home with apx 70-75 yards of (mostly) not quilt store quality but cost under $45 for all. Now I can play and try out new things without feeling so guilty if they don't work. Easier to do with less expensive materials.
We were leaving Chattanooga when the bad weather hit. I had to park for about 15-20 mins before I was comfortable to drive again. We were going to go up the Lookout Pkwy, but I didn't want to drive those roads in the rain so we hit I-59 and drove South to where we had room reservations.
Even with the heat and rain, we had a good time. Now checking out other yard sales like this that are closer to home.
