Default 1st attempt free-motion stippling

This was my 1st attempt @ free-motion stippling...I used variegated purple thread.

Please be honest...How'd I do?

You did a good job! I find free motion stippling one of the hardest for me to do......I think all free motion requires a lot of practice.

Very nicely done. I see only 1 crossed line and I had to really look hard to find it. If this was your first attempt at stippling it's incredibly well done. The variegated purple thread doesn't stand out it's very subtle adding some more dimension, nice touch. Congratulations, on a job well done.

I think you did great! its always tricky trying to get that 'bone shape' that you see so often in quilts, I am still trying to master it haha.. I was told by an experienced quilter to think of the tip of a bone and try get that shape down and work in small squares...I am still working on it haha...I think you did a very nice job and I love the colors and your variegated thread! very nicely done

I think you did great. I have not done this yet. Only practiced a little so far. Keep up the good work, you should be proud.
