I found this pattern on line for little violet purses and decided to make a couple. I gave one to my friend to take to Paducah and kept one for myself. They have 3 pockets inside and hold just enough. Had a lot of fun using up some of my stash.

Was this a freebie pattern?? If so, would you care to share?

Where can we obtain this pattern. Great granddaughters are wanting purses. Looks like the right size. Thanks, so cute

Sorry. I should have said. It is a freebie on Connecting Threads call Vintage Violets Handbag. I sort of followed the directions. I didn't want the piping so I put right sides together and stitched to lining to the purse then turned it. Then I top stitched. I also used velcro for the closing. That is the stitching that shows on the pink one.

So adorable. I printed the pattern but still not used it. Might have to dig it out. Would be great gift for the younger grands.
