Just finished these 2 quilts. Bev inspired me to do something with the blocks I had hand embroidered when I was laid up with a broken ankle. The green is a kind of scrappy DP9, wish I had used a few more brights but I was trying to use up scraps from pj pants that I had made. Thanks for looking, I am not so good at photographing

Susy,
You just helped me decide how to work up a quilt my mom did redwork on blocks of muslin for me! So pretty the work you did!

My mom embroidered our family names, birthdates, etc. on muslin about three years ago. I've had them in my wips sitting there waiting for me to decide how to work them into a quilt top. They are all embroidered with red thread, too, cause that's the color I knew I wanted 10 years ago when she started it. Things change, tastes change, but I'm going to make this work, with your inspiration.

Hugs,
Sharon

Thank you, I love anything red! Glad I could help you on your decision on what to do with your blocks, you all have been so much of an inspiration to me, for sure!

Hey!! Susie ... Those embroidery blocks are just so sweet. Nice use of the scraps on the dp9 too.
