Default 2 quilts for homeless Vets in NY State

I just mailed these. They will be delivered to a facility in NY state for homeless Vets.

This one is sized for a Vet in a wheelchair. A kind QB member gave me these completed blocks a year or two ago. Hopefully she sees them here. I added sashing, quilted and bound it.

Below is a large lap quilt. I made it in "man" colors since most of the residents are men.

Thanks for looking.

Nicely done. I am sue they will be appreciated. A legless vet had me in tears when he said the horse on the quilt he got looked like the precious horse he had to give up when he returned from Nam.

I LOVE those two quilts. So glad you could make use of the scraps I sent you. I made ALL the animal patch pal quilts, waiting for final 4 to come back from quilter then I'm going to donate ALL of them to a childrens hospital for use in the neo unit! My son keeps saying "WHY do you give quilts away"....hard to explain but it makes my heart feel good! Kind of a pay it forward. I LOVE making them but after so many you run out of room!! GOOD JOB!!!
