I made a quilt using this pattern last fall. It was a Y2k quilt, meaning there were 2000 pieces in it. If I remember correctly there were 5 different blocks. It was really fun to do and see it go together, and a wonderful way to use up scraps! I googled Y2K quilts and found that there are many............it was the 2000 pieces that caused it to be called that. Mine isn't sandwiched and quilted......yet!
