    Your BOM quilt looks great! I have done several BOM and you do need to watch out for the $ of the finishing kits. I usually do the blocks and then finish them myself without buying the $$$$$ finishing kit. Does your shop offer them separately? If not, go for BOM of smaller sizes lap/crib/twin etc. and add to them on your own.

    the monthly fee included the entire quilt (not the backing)...I usually do my own thing when it comes to my quilts, but I like this pretty much...that is the only reason I did this.

    I like the BOM that are only $3.00 or $5.00... those I don't mind participating in and have a few.
