    Thank you everyone for your kind comments. I can't take credit for the fabric choices. It was included. There were only four blocks but you made three of each. The name of the pattern was An Ornate Garden. The block names were puzzle, mosaic, grandmas star (which is a 54 40 or fight), and kitty corner.
    After I explained to DH that it was supposed to look old he got it. It is keeping us warm on our bed.

    After looking at the posted picture I see I made a big mistake that I didn't notice before. I'm now in shock I didn't see it before.

    i do see one block that might have a turned corner, but i wouldn't point it out to anyone... it looks like a design choice to me. it's still beautiful.

    That is a beautiful quilt. I have sewn a long time, quilted only a couple of years, but I can tell you that after yesterday with the seam ripper in hand, don't be too hard on yourself. Sometimes it just happens!!!
