I agree, it is such a beautiful quilt. The colors are so pretty and cheerful. I can see the Christmas look of spreading Christmas cheer. Then after you said a watermelon quilt, I had to go back and look at it again. lol... I can see that too, but like one said, it would be cute with the black watermelon seeds sewn on. I would never have thought of that.

I thought it was a Christmas quilt, but it can be a watermelon quilt too. It is really adorable.

What a beauty! I'm feeling a little déjà vu because I just pulled out a UFO today and there was a watermelon log cabin in the book... Yours looks great and I love the scrappy border too.
